Yamato no Miyako (倭京)

Yamato no Miyako is a city existed in ancient Japan. This name is referred to in books including "Nihonshoki" (Chronicles of Japan) and what is commonly called "Kyushu Nengo" (the Eras of Kyushu Dynasty). The city is observed as Asuka-kyo in prevailing view, but there is another opinion that the city means Dazai-fu (local government office in Kyushu region).
